| Adeptus Fanaticus at the Chicago Games Day | | For 6 months Adeptus Fanaticus planned an event it could take to Games Day ’08. Finally picking the Supa Grippa event it ran as its Founding Event a project team was formed. Under the ruthless Warboss, Brent Bowmaster (Fallenhero) several members spent nights working on the table, upgrading it, adding components, and working out a smoother rule set. Then the fateful day. Waking up at very early hours on Friday the 25th the Games Day team, consisting of Joel Cudanofsky (COTL), Andrew Bowmaster (Wookieesmuggler), and Dave Clements (MasteroftheInfternalWarp) emarked upon the long journey.
Reaching Chicago, they immediately set to getting the table established and making needed repairs from the journey. Later, after hitting the Bunker, the team began Games Day. Several heated races were run, each with a winner who left with coveted Adeptus Fanaticus Dice. By 12 noon the team had lost their voices but still endeavored to carry the banner and win the Club Event.
When the smoke cleared….only one club stood standing.
