The Eleventh Founding Chapter Is Upon Us!
40K Fight ClubIn the beginning, the Emperor was alone. He walked in places others would not and defeated foes that none could defeat. But even He knew that he would need others to walk with him, to carry the banner of mankind throughout the stars. Thus he created the Primarchs as his generals. Through them he would command the legions of Astartes, and through them he would bring the light of mankind to the farthest places.

The Primarchs were each given a Legion of astartes, and to command the legions they eventually created Chapters. These were commanded by Chapter Masters and their Lieutenants.

Today this tradition continues.

We are pleased to annound the Eleventh Chapter founding of the 40K Fight Club: Heretics, Inc.

The Tenth Founding - The Legion of the Damned!
40K Fight ClubAnd thus it was written that The Emperor would lay upon the shoulders of His Primarchs the responsibility of the Legions.   The Primarchs did take this responsibility and with it declared that there would be order within the Legions and those orders would be called Chapters.   Each Chapter would be an army unto themselves.   Each Chapter would lead their own battle to spread the light of the Emperor to all corners of the galaxy.   This was a sacred duty to be performed and the formation of these Chapters was something for all to behold.   For when a new Chapter arose, it signaled the formation of a new weapon in the Emperors hand to smite His foes and spread His will.

This day, The Primarchs have given forth the approval of the formation of a new Chapter.

The Legion of the Damned!

Based out of Spokane Washington, The Tenth Founding Chapter is now officially a part of the 40K Fight Club Legion!

Founding membership:
Chapter Master - Chris "Big_C" Snell
Lieutenant - David "ForTheEmperor" Morris
Lieutenant - JD "ChaosGyrine" Greyer
Lieutenant - Chris "Imukuni" Grim
Founding Member - Jack "JackBlit" Rosenblit
Founding Member - Tye "Depayens" Allum
Founding Member - Andy "Sabre21" Johnson
Founding Member - Kevin "Herrylall" Hills
Founding Member - Ivan "JuliusRedwings" Parramore

Go forth brothers and do the work of the righteous!

First full Domination Table in DT history!
40K Fight ClubToday, May 4th 2009, the 40K Fight Club has had a milestone reached.

The Ordo Pacificus recently held it's Domination Table Seeding Tournament to get it off and running for their Chapter.   The tournament had a great turnout and after it's completion their Domination Table had a lot of people on it, the challenging soon began flowing.   However, the table still had empty positions in the lower tiers.

The Chapter didn't rest!   After just over 2 weeks, they recruited enough players to actually have a FULL DOMINATION TABLE!   The first in DT history!

Congratulations to the Ordo Pacificus!   May the blood always flow downhill for your battles!

Adeptus Fanaticus at the Chicago Games Day
40K Fight ClubFor 6 months Adeptus Fanaticus planned an event it could take to Games Day ’08. Finally picking the Supa Grippa event it ran as its Founding Event a project team was formed. Under the ruthless Warboss, Brent Bowmaster (Fallenhero) several members spent nights working on the table, upgrading it, adding components, and working out a smoother rule set. Then the fateful day. Waking up at very early hours on Friday the 25th the Games Day team, consisting of Joel Cudanofsky (COTL), Andrew Bowmaster (Wookieesmuggler), and Dave Clements (MasteroftheInfternalWarp) emarked upon the long journey.

Reaching Chicago, they immediately set to getting the table established and making needed repairs from the journey. Later, after hitting the Bunker, the team began Games Day. Several heated races were run, each with a winner who left with coveted Adeptus Fanaticus Dice. By 12 noon the team had lost their voices but still endeavored to carry the banner and win the Club Event.

When the smoke cleared….only one club stood standing.

Adeptus Fanaticus, 8th Founding of the 40K Fight Club

The Adeptus Fanaticus team earned the 'Best Club Event' for the 2008 Chicago Games Day!

The Primarchs of the 40K Fight Club are proud of the efforts put forth.   Excellent Job!

Beginning the process of changing hosting sites
40K Fight Club
Hail warriors of the 40K Fight Club!

As you no doubt have noticed, the performance of the site has left something to be desired.   Often times it laggs out, or will not load at all.

I've tried working with our current hosting company several times and have had less than happy experiences.

So, I have taken the very difficult decision of changing web hosting services.   I say difficult because the last time I changed the hosting service, it was about four 20 hour days trying to get it moved and working, and I've been dreading doing it again.   But it must be done.

So, I'm looking at getting the site moved, which means that there may be some down time.   Rest assured that the 40K Fight Club will remain, and that I am working on getting it running more effeciently so that reading the forums can continue to be fun, and not become a trial of frustration.

I'll keep you all posted.

How often do you play a 'non-standard' game of 40K? (like Cityfight, Apoc, etc)

Never, always play standard rulebook games
once or twice a year I'll play non-standard
few times a year, but still not that common
every few games
about half and half
the majority of my games are non-standard
almost all of my games are non-standard
I don't play games out of the rulebook at all
